I don't f*cking miss. That's my mantra when it comes to my fitness journey. As an IFBB Pro Bikini athlete, I know that consistency is key to achieving my goals. And trust me, I've had to learn that the hard way.
When I first started competing, I would go all in for a few weeks or even months at a time. I would eat perfectly, train like a beast, and see some great results. But then life would happen - I'd get busy with work or traveling, or I'd get injured - and I'd fall off track. I'd miss a few workouts here and there, and before I knew it, I'd completely lost my momentum.
It wasn't until I learned the importance of consistency that things really started to change for me. I realized that I couldn't rely on short-term, all-or-nothing bursts of motivation. Instead, I needed to make fitness a consistent part of my life. That's when I came up with my "I don't f*cking miss" mantra. It's my reminder to never miss a workout, never miss a meal, and never miss an opportunity to make progress.
Of course, I'm not perfect, and I do miss sometimes. But when I do, I don't beat myself up about it. Instead, I simply get back on track as soon as possible. Consistency is about progress, not perfection.
One of the ways I have been able to maintain consistency is by scheduling my workouts and meal preps in advance. I make sure to plan my training sessions and meals for the week ahead. And I try to make them as easy as possible to follow through. This way, I don't have to think about what to do or eat, I just follow the schedule.
Another important aspect of consistency is having a supportive community. Whether it's a trainer, a workout buddy, or a support group, having people who understand and support your goals can make a huge difference. They can help keep you accountable, provide motivation, and offer valuable advice.
In the end, consistency is what will take you from where you are to where you want to be. It's not easy, but it's worth it. I don't f*cking miss, and neither should you.
So, make your fitness journey a consistent one, set your goals, make a schedule, and stick to it. And always remember, consistency is key!
