The hidden habit sabotaging your progress
You know those “just a bite” moments — a spoonful of your kid’s mac and cheese, a taste of cookie dough, or a lick of peanut butter straight from the jar? We’ve all been there.
But here’s the truth: those tiny moments can sneak hundreds of calories into your day without you even realizing it.
BLTs (bites, licks, and tastes) aren’t evil — but when your goal is fat loss or recomposition, they add up fast. You can hit your macros 90% of the time, but that extra 10% of “I didn’t log it” could be why you’re not seeing results. The math doesn’t lie.
So what can you do?
✅ Start paying attention. Notice when you snack without thinking — especially while cooking or cleaning up.
✅ Track everything (yes, even that spoonful). The more aware you are, the more consistent you’ll be.
✅ Stay mindful, not obsessive. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s awareness.
Because at the end of the day, progress doesn’t come from perfection… it comes from the habits you repeat — even the small ones.
Need Help Staying Consistent?
