MaxEffort Buckeye Chow

I'm a Buckeye girl born and raised so of course Peanut Butter and Chocolate is one of my favorite combos. I love cooking and baking around themes and making Game-Day snacks "healthified" is one of my favorite things to do. I made this recipe for the Ohio State National Championship game (we won't talk about the outcome) and it was the perfect way to watch the Buckeyes give their "MAXEFFORT" on the field. This puppy chow is made with my favorite plant based protein from MaxEffort Muscle - it has great macros and tastes amazing!

CEREAL INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 Cups Cereal (I used Crispix, but get creative!)

  • 1/4 Cup Powdered Peanut Butter (like PB2)

  • 2 Tbsp Chocolate Chips

  • 2 Tbsp Unsweetened Almond Milk

COATING:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees & prepare a baking sheet with foil & cooking spray

  2. Melt chocolate chips and milk in a small bowl for 15-25 seconds, stir until smooth

  3. Stir in Powdered Peanut butter until smooth

  4. Coat cereal with the peanut butter mixture and spread onto prepared pan

  5. Bake for 7-10 minutes to crisp up

  6. While cereal is baking, blend protein powder, cocoa powder and stevia in a blender until it's a powder like consistency.

  7. Toss the cooled cereal in the protein mixture until evenly coated.

  8. Watch the Buckeyes give their MaxEffort in every game!
