All the red velvet flavor you want... without turning one bite into a setback.
Red velvet season always hits hard. The problem? Most “just a taste” moments turn into a full-on spiral by the end of the day. That’s exactly why this Max Effort Whey Red Velvet Cookie Dough exists.
This recipe gives you that classic red velvet vibe — rich, chocolatey, and sweet — while still keeping protein in the mix.
No baking. No complicated steps. Just mix, roll, and enjoy.
It’s perfect for when cravings hit but you still want control. Eat it straight from the bowl, roll it into dough balls for portioning, or keep it prepped in the fridge so you’re not grabbing whatever’s closest.
Ingredients
⅓ cup Max Effort Protein
½ cup Oat Flour
2 tbsp Almond Flour
1½ tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 tbsp Granulated Monkfruit Sweetener (or sweetener of choice)
Pinch of salt
1½ tbsp Light Butter, melted (I used Blue Bonnet Light)
1 tbsp Sugar-Free Pancake Syrup
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Red food coloring, as desired
Almond milk, as needed for consistency
Mini chocolate chips (I used ~2 tbsp)
Directions
In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.
Stir in the melted butter, syrup, vanilla extract, and red food coloring.
Add almond milk only if needed, a little at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Roll into dough balls or store as-is in a container.
Enjoy!
