These Protein Puppy Chow Cookies hit every craving — sweet, chocolatey, peanut-buttery — all while giving you protein and keeping calories low. They’re quick to whip up, easy to portion, and perfect for when you want a treat without going completely off the rails.


If you grew up obsessed with Puppy Chow (or Muddy Buddies), this is your grown-up, macro-friendly version. Fun, nostalgic, and totally goal-friendly.


Ingredients

  • 1 scoop Max Effort Protein

  • 1/4 cup Oat Flour

  • 6 tbsp Powdered Peanut Butter

  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar Substitute (or regular)

  • ¼ cup Unsweetened Applesauce

  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda

  • Pinch of Salt

  • Chocolate Chips & Powdered Sugar (for topping)


Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.

  3. Stir in applesauce until cookie dough forms.

  4. Roll into dough balls and place on parchment-lined baking sheet.

  5. Wet hands to prevent sticking.

  6. Bake for 6 minutes.

  7. Remove and gently press down the cookies with the back of a spoon.

  8. Drizzle with melted chocolate + sprinkle with powdered sugar.

  9. ENJOY!
